A "step up" from a "therapy human" --- i.e., someone who provides more than just fellowship and assistance to a person in need, in that he actually affectionately associates with a lonely dude/chick to help him feel better about himself/herself.

I always appreciate it when pretty girls give me smilez and hugz, and let me hold their soft warm slender handz and rub their cute shapely feet; their kind-hearted valenteering always helps me more than I can ever gratefully express to them!
