Songcycle is the phenomenon experienced when a person repeatedly thinks of a song or refrain of music, perhaps in spite of efforts not to think of the song or refrain of music. The person may find himself humming or singing the song or refrain of music without intending to.

I was heard only half of Misty Mountain Hop on the way in to work this morning, and now I'm stuck in a songcycle.

A site that used to be alright as it gave a type of open forum for people to discuss the lyrics of the song and what it meant.

Then people just used the space to give ill formed and ignorant opinions of songs and bands and just turn the site into a "I hate this band because <reason>... however, listen to me while I shove even more reasons why you should like this other band down your throat! HEre's some cool... art house rock! Yeh man, we're hip... but NOT HIP! Dangerous".... but I digress.

It's basically a musical lyrics version of Urban Dictionary, in what it's supposed to be and what it became.

"haha rock on dude. GOod Charlotte is thee worst band ever. They "look punk enough" thats about it. First of all, punk isnt a look, and it sure aint hosting their own show on mtv. A word to describe a complete an utter fud, twat, bawbag of a person. A 'Songu' tends to make up some amount of shit like meeting the wrestler 'The Rock' at a petrol station in Glasgow, Scotland.

The 'Songu' also tends to go for sexual partners 3-4 years younger than themselves... They also have the ability to get 'songued'...

A another term for getting absolutely drunk, scooshed, hammered, pished, etc. on a single bottle of beer or anything lower in strength. Applies to those who can hardly walk and speak afterwards.
