New York State University Police

A band of heroic legendary police officers sworn to protect the universities and colleges of the New York's SUNY system.

Challenged by the quarells of protecting millions of staff, faculty, and students.

Dedicated to justice. Enforcing the law and protecting life liberty and property.

Also they have bad ass hats and uniforms.

They are trained by police academies recognized by the new york state department of criminal justice services.

They seek to one day have all the departments at different SUNY schools to become centralized; thus, so they will be more organized, run more efficiently, and better be able to protect and serve the people of NYS.

There are approximately 40 of them at stony brook university. about 3 to 6 usualy work per 8.25 hour tour. At stony brook they are responsible for the safety of over 40,000 people during the day. That includes faculty, staff, students, the University Hospital patients, and all other people who have business there.

New York Yankees

The team that everyone hates because their team SUCKS. If you say the Yankees Suck, then take a look and see how many world series' your team has one. Oh, well guess what, the Yankees have 26! The Yankees are so damn good u hatas are jelous and u say u hate them! Sure they have alot of money, but they are like any other baseball team. In the past they have been great, but currently (2006-07), their pitching sucks and their hitting rocks.

Bob: I hate the new york yankees. They SUCK!
Jim: I guess that would explain why they have won 26 world championships and have finished in first place in front of the red sox 10 years straight.

literally, a resident of new york, esp. the new york city greater metropolitan area. in some places it can be used as a slightly offencieve term to describe bad drivers, second home owners, and tourists, due to the fact that in those places the majority of tourists and second home owners are from new york. the meaning of bad drivers come from the the fact of horrible traffic with much honking on mannhatten, and from the fact that tourists dont know the area's roads and rules, making them worsh drivers than locals.

there was a bunch of people and traffic in town today, but it was all new yorkers

Tony's New York Pizza

The place to be in northern virginia.

Pretty much the classic italian pizza place. Complete with nice italian dudes making some nice pizza and great calzones.

and yes, they are really italian, enuf said..

I went to Tony's New York Pizza and ate 7 slices of pizza, it was yummy.
