drinkin' hole

Any place where a feller or a gal can wet their whistle with a nice alcoholic drink.

It doesn't have to be a bar or some other place that serves drinks. As long as it's out of the prying eyes of people who frown on drinkin' in public.
1) Pokey stopped by the liquor mart on the way home from work. He bought some rot-gut booze and headed behind the store.

He didn't wanna wait till' he got home, there was a drinkin' hole behind the store with a cheap mattress.

2) Gordon was hanging out down by the river under the bridge, a known drinkin' hole for the local derelicts and hoodrats. He slammed six beers and huffed a whole bottle of nail-polish remover.

3) Todd and Ronnie were hanging out at the drinkin' hole in the park trying to pick up high school chicks.

Originating in Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada's drunkest province. To complete this challenge you must stay up all day and night and continue drinking for the entire 24 hours without falling asleep. If you fall asleep you lose the challenge and the respect of your friends.
Me and da bys are going to our buddies shed for the 24 Hour Drinking Challenge

Drinking the Coffee

Trying to fit in by doing something you don't normally do. Most commonly said when an individual pretends to like coffee at work to fit in with coworkers who are drinking it.
Joey: Why is Ryan acting like he knows about cars?

Christian: He's just 'drinking the coffee' to impress them.

"Fuck a wristband, lets all do a keg stand. I'm like cheech and chong hittin up the beer bong. When the cops show up they're gonna get the finger and I don't give a fuck. Cause I'm the designated drinker."

drinkist

A professional, well mannered drinker. Not to be confused with a drunk or a pisspot.
A drinkist is the ever-present, friendly, well mannered and sociable drinker. They have a great capacity for alcohol and NEVER appear drunk or cause offence. A true pro!
