Microsoft's PC in a box, plug N play no longer "plug n pray" is a brave and interesting debut into this still infant industry.
Initially a slow start at launch, Xbox has picked up somewhat and is currently in second place to Sony's PS2 with Nintendo's Game Cube trailing third place in the next-genertion of console wars.
It has a number of titles under it belt, along with some solid aquisitions and merges, it's a good all round performer, and currently the most powerful games machine around to date.
Now universally available is Xbox live, which has become very popular amongst gamers worldwide.
As they say, power is money and money is power, like it or not Xbox is here to stay.

Get the Shit-Box (X-Box) mug.Well I have had both yes they have their advantages and disadvantages I have played the same game at the same time on each console (destiny) the Ps4 makes it look a lot better has zero lag and over all is better but ps4's server goes down a lot while x-box's does not yes x-box has ONE thing the ps4 does not THAT PICE OF SHIT CALLED the Kinect it is irresponsive and demands too much space that is where this ends otherwise this will go on forever.

Get the Shit-Box (X-Box) mug.For the record I have one of these pieces of shit along with a gamer tag but it's all collecting dust.A console that instead of actually having games on the PS2 or even some games on the gamecubes level, has to rely on overhyping there games with gimicks so that they SEEM good. Allthough it is the most powerful console of this generation the only games that show it's power are the tecmo games such as Ninja Gaiden, Dead or alive 3 etc. Final Fantasy on the ps2, and the RE series on Gamecube show more time and effort than halfassed overhyped games such as Halo 2. The console and it's games seem to only attract 8-12 year olds and casual gamers.
This is how you distinguish a real gamer from a casual 12 year old noob.
Ask him if he'd rather play a Metal Gear Solid game or Halo 2. Then judge by his answer.
