Spoofer is a colloquial term for a bizzare genre of content found on the site Deviantart in which users take random characters from unrelated franchises and/or IPs and plaster them together as part of a poster for a fictional movie, video game, series etc. It is unknown why people do this or what the appeal of such content is. Spoofer imagery is typically low quality and low effort with it simply just being stock renders from google images. To add to the absurdity of it all, spoofers expect to be taken as seriously as those who make high quality artwork and fanart.
