The Mungus effect (named after Hugh Mungus) describes the backfiring of a post made by a SJW or triggered Feminist about how she got "assaulted" or "harassed". More specifically:

In the attempt to show that she was harassed and to shame the "assaulter", she posts a video or description of the situation. The online community then mostly responds with an outrageous cry, that she souldn't be as easily triggered.
