Dorchester

One of the most dangerous neighborhoods in Boston. A place where Irish and Black gangstaz rule the streets. cant get through a single night without waking up to gun shots and police cars. If your not a fighter dont live in dorchester. Dont raise your kids here because they will join gangs for their survival. Dont plan on living here for the rest of your life because if you live here your whole life your life wont be very long. Dorchester was once home to many influential people like Whitey Bulger (Irish american gangster, once ran Bostons organized crime), Malcom X (Black nationalit leader), among countless other gang members and career criminals who grew up in Dorchester.

Dorchester is the ghetto surrounded by ghettos like South Boston, Roxbury, and the South End.

In courtrooms across the United States, prosecutors can frequently get unreasonable with their plea bargains. Public Defenders and private defense attorneys will then agree to demand speedy trial on all of their cases, causing the judge's docket to become hopelessly backlogged and overloaded with cases set for trial. This causes the Judge to make bench offers to clear up his or her docket. It also forces the procecutors to plea out more cases so they can pursue the most dangerous defendants.

A.P.D. #1: these prosecutors are trying to give prison time on sale and delivery of cannabis cases! A.P.D. #2: docket slam them!

Judge: Counselor, what say you on Mr. Smith's case? A.P.D. #3: Ready for trial, your honor.

A Yorkshire, England term meaning; collecting cigarette tab ends to have when one is out of tobacco.

My girlfriend was raging mad, acting like some crazy, caged wild animal because she hadn't had a cig all day; I was down to a few pence in change, so i went docker picking and came back with enough tobacco to last her until midnight when my dole went in and i could purchase a pack of proper cigs at the all night garage.
