When a person with that has no work ethic or skill takes the attention off the real situation creates a delusional situation to get out of real work.

A technique used to make yourself feel like you have gotten work done on a project or essay. Involves opening a new document, putting on a title, and saving it with an appropriate name before getting distracted by more important things.
I tried to write my essay on Parallel Universes, but I ended up pulling a Create-a-File then making myself a sandwich.
