Cultural Wasteland

A place in which people have no (or no access to) social institutions of a genuine, historically developed culture, and are thus reduced to considering the mundane or vulgar as culturally significant.

That town is a cultural wasteland; people only congregate at places like McDonald's and Walmart and consider trashy car mods and bootleg drugs to be part of their collective identity.

Man, I wish there was something to do this weekend that isn't just meaningless consumerism. What a depressing cultural wasteland.

wasteland

Refers to a raw, grimey, industrial area suitable for BMX sessions and are most common in Dirty Jersey(Northeast) and NYC. Most people view this habitat as nothing more than an eye-sore or detritus. Overwhelmed by fear and disgust, most riders wouldn't dare pass the visible "No Trespassing" signs. TeamPiFF members are often found lurking in the darkest of alleys and dungeons with no visible signs of resent or phobias.

Esophegator was seen emerging from "Appleseed", with a grin only obtained from BMX seesions at the famed wasteland.

(Verb)Insisting that time machines exist because it was seen on TV even though the idea of a Flux Capacitor is unholy and just plain wrong. This statement is often made to obtain sexual gratification off of an elderly family member or an older homosexual that resembles the Wasseler's father.

Michael told everyone on the school bus that time machines really do exist because he saw it on television the night before. He made this statement because he knew his grandmother was having company over that kind of looked like his father and he was hoping to have relationships with both of them at the same time.

tampon wasteland

1. The furthest crevice of a woman's vagina. This is where tampons are sent accidentally and are stranded for eternity. Can be caused by having intercourse, or getting fingered or fistblasted when a tampon is in place.

2. The original inspiration for the song Baba O'Reilly by The Who, that refers to a "Teenage Wasteland". They changed the name of the song to make it appeal more to the masses.
