indier-than-thou

An attitude of superiority, expressed through detailed knowledge of independent music and film, as well as the donning of ironic thrift store clothing and lengthy, eye-hiding bangs.

Can also refer to any item used to express the fact that one is indier than others.

Used in this manner by a disgruntled Starbucks employee in an email to the blog Gawker:

"Go hate on the schmucks at Cake Shop or Bowery Poetry Club or something. Their coffee's not that much better, their employees don't have health coverage, their bathrooms aren't any cleaner, and your chances of being snobbed off by some kid with an indier-than-thou haircut are exponentially greater."

Tehani

Typically a dark brown haired girl that looks somewhat exotic. One of the most caring, accepting, understanding, loyal people you will ever meet. Can be indecisive. Has a hard time opening up. But when a Tehani decides that you’re “the one” she will go out of her way to make you feel unconditionally loved and place you as a top priority. You can see it in her eyes by the way she looks at you. She will make you feel very special and show limitless support. A Tehani has the biggest heart, and is normally very beautiful. Isn’t too social, but is the sweetest. If you ever come across a Tehani never let her go, she’s quite the catch!

Eric: “Man I see Tehani around all the time, but she’s always listening to music minding her own.”
Jake: “She’s beautiful though, and very sweet from what I’ve gathered!”

Gooder than good

Is something that is really, really good. Not just good, but gooder. Close to goodest, but not quite goodest. Just gooder. Definitely better than good, so its pretty much in between good and goodest. It is gooder.

If you're working in a science lab, and your lab colleague does something that is quite extraordinary. Then you may quip to say then, "my! that was gooder than good."

A Fate Worse Than Death

Basically to assume that living a really long life is horrible and dangerous. Let's say that you were currently alive and something extremely unpleasant has happened to you that would possibly result in mental scars. Something so bad that it will stick with you for the rest of your life and you just can't wait for death.

Death is an absolutely natural part of life. You're gonna die at some point so you might as well accept it while you still can. Sometimes it would be much better for most people who really have it worse than others.

Life truly can be a fate worse than death. I know some people who have it so worse that they are just wanting to be put out of their misery because their pain (whether it be physically, mentally or emotionally) lasts the longer they live.
