The Sounds of a rubber boot being pulled out of a mud puddle resembled the romance symphony from the night before.

Roadman

A roadman is a deluded big headed chav, who spends their saturday mornings sitting outside Poundland next to the hobos smoking joints. They wear charity shop Adidas joggers and bin bags as coats found in a council lorry down the road. They scrapped their 2 years of education ( only made it reception) and can’t speak a word of English apart from “ I’ll shank u bruv” with a bent butter knife they stole from their mums knicker drawer.

Fat joe: did u see that roadman down the road matey
Big bill: yeah mate he said he’d shank me so I gave him 50 p and a wedgie and he was on his way

My Chemical Romance

A New Jersey- born rock/alternative band formed in 2001 consisting of Gerard Way (Vocals), Ray Toro (Guitar), Mikey Way (Guitar), and Frank Iero (Guitar). They have a new drummer, but I forgot his name. Sorry! MCR's sound has moved from dark and hard core to violent pop. :) I like it. They have been getting crap from the press in the past for being a bad influence on listeners, but time and time again they have told their fans to get help if they're feeling depressed and to feel like they are never really alone. They got their name from a book by Irvine Welsh.

romance rape

Appreciation of a romantic moment shared with another person to whom one is attracted, without their reciprocation or consent. Differs from fantasy in that it actually occurs, but typically to the knowledge of only the romance rapist. May occur between people of either gender, and particularly common between those of opposite sexual orientation.

v. Jen never realized that Steve wanted to be more than just friends, even after he had her over for a candlelit dinner and gazed into her eyes the whole evening. He didn't care; he just wanted to romance rape her.

Roman holiday

An instance in which someone experiences enjoyment on account of someone else's suffering. The expression, first used in this sense in Byron's "Childe Harold," derives from the fact that the Roman Empire frequently proclaimed work-free days on which to hold gladiatorial games. "Roman holiday" can function as a loose equivalent of the German term Schadenfreude, which also means pleasure derived from another person's misfortune.

When he had to enter rehab himself, he realized that his mockery of Rush Limbaugh's painkiller addiction ultimately amounted to nothing more than a petty Roman holiday.
