when you are leaving a voicemail for someone, they notice you are calling...they attempt to answer and instead are directed immediately to your voicemail. you see the missed call, call them back...you are directed immediately to their voicemail because they are leaving you a message... the cycle continues until you eventually give them a chance to call you or you give up.

I was stuck in cellimbo for 20 minutes today trying to reach Jim-Bob!
