adjective; Anxious, fidgety, edgy, impatient, restless, worried, tense, jumpy, eager.
Sometimes it can be used sexually as in "sexually eager" aka horny.

Example 1: The long wait in the doctors office made the children ansty and more scared to get their flu shots.

Example 2: Her husband got ansty and took off his pants waiting for his wife to come out of the bathroom to celebrate their honeymoon.
