The let-down that happens when some event has been massively over-hyped. You are really looking forward to it but in the end it does not at all live up to your unrealistically high expectations and you are bummed out.

Everyone was talking about that movie so I finally went out and saw it. What an anticappointment.

the opposite of building to a climax. instead, making potentially rising ideas and energy steady, or falling.

relating to a person's tone of voice; sounding dull, less enthusiastic, or normal tone in cases of excitement.

Sarcasm would be an example of being anticlimactic.

An Anticancel is a person that talks and talks a lot without adding anything to the conversation. In forums, these people have exceptionally high post counts and tend to be loathed by the rest of the community.
