Hit by a truck

If someone's intestines are not laying on the ground, they don't look like they got hit by a truck. If they don't get airborne, they didn't go flying. Stepping backwards a few feet isn't the same thing as getting knocked airborne for many yards.

The guy stepped backwards a few feet to keep his balance after being pushed. He didn't get knocked airborne and he wasn't hamburger meat, so he didn't go flying or look like he had been hit by a truck, no matter how much the bubbly girl wanted her bubble and her story inflated.
