Saco

The suburbs of Maine’s only true ghetto city (Biddeford). Saco is a fairly nice town for the most part. Great school system(Thornton Academy). The drugs and crime in Saco is mostly just carried over from Biddeford but it’s not that bad. A lot of out of state people living there mostly from New York, Boston, Providence, and New Jersey. Saco has a large white population but there are quite a bit of Blacks, Hispanics, Asians, and Middle Easterns especially over the past 5 years. The Saco river is rumored to have a curse that every year 4 white men die in it due to something that happened many years ago. A Native American woman was attacked by 4 white men and was brutally beaten and sexually abused and one of them tossed her baby in the water because they heard a myth that Native babies know how to swim at birth. Saco is a nice town if you know what people and areas to avoid, and it is fairly safe. I would recommend Saco as a good place to take a vacation or to move to if your looking for an exciting place to live your life and raise a family.

Him:Hey man wanna go to Saco?
Friend:Sure as long as we stay clear of Biddeford, we will have to take the other route to get there.
Him: Okay sounds good I don’t plan on getting robbed or beat up either so let’s drive through Dayton to get there.
Friend:Okay let’s do it!
