An expression often used in the military that means your contract or tour of duty is almost finished.

"I'm getting short." or "I'm too short for this dangerous mission..."

A police department that’s so aggressive in nature that they’re almost suicidal.

Originating from the police department of the same name from the 2019, racing game Need For Speed: Heat.

I got pulled over for speeding last week and the cop was trying to ram my vehicle costing me a lot of repairs. Looks like they’ve turned into a Eden Shores PD.

A metaphor for being the best at something that's unimportant or unimpressive. For example: The fastest pitcher who lives at a nursing home is like being the smartest kid on the short bus.

It comes from the special bus designated for retarded people commonly being shorter than the others.

Zack: I'm the best guitar player in town
Me: Whatever, that's like being the smartest kid on the short bus

Short Stoppin is slang for shorting somebody typically referred to when it comes to drugs or money.
Giving somebody less than what they were suppose to recieve.

I heard he was short stoppin people, thats why they killed him.
