-A man who thinks he has comparable physical and/ or social attributes to musician and socio-political justice voice ‘Hozier’ (specifically in a way that is appealing to women) but is actually deeply problematic and needs to touch grass
-When a mediocre tall white man with long hair thinks he’s the world’s greatest feminist, musician, and empath. (He is just egotistically unstable, generally unformulated as an individual, took acid once, and heard a Hozier album.)

He played me “Work Song” on the guitar and then whined about paying for a Plan B- its his Hozier complex

Get the Hozier Complex mug.In mental illness, it is a delusion where the person suffering believes there is a grand conspiracy that specifically targets them or individuals like them, akin to gang stalking. This conspiracy supposedly is trying to make their life hell and everything that goes wrong in life is caused by this mysterious group, sometimes it’s the government, celebrities or just random people (See Apophenia).
Or (what this focuses on), when it involves assholes, they usually have a persecution complex over what is reasonable backlash to their shitty behaviour, using DARVO, psychological projection, gaslighting techniques , nutpicking, strawman arguments (and other logical fallacies) and then playing the victim. Claiming to be the victim of unfair judgement and mistreatment, when they in fact do that and/or advocate for it. Simple resistance to injustice to them is like an attack.

Examples of a persecution complex:
Christian fundamentalists claim to be persecuted by the mainstream media for “their pro family values” (see dog whistle), when they spew bigotry towards many marginalized groups and usually get a pretty paycheck for it. (See Astroturf)
AI “““artists””” claiming to be the victim of artists, who simply just want to not be plagiarized and have the thing they love and spent years doing be a stable way of living and not be treated like worthless numbers by executives (see Activision, EA, Disney, and other shitty executives)
Men’s “““rights activists””” claim that men are unfairly being treated by women. When they in fact are huge misogynistic douchebags that make women dislike men. Same people who if they were to meet real victims of the loneliness epidemic (ie someone who suffers from crippling social anxiety) they would make it worse for that person calling them things like a “pussy” and giving superficial advice like “man up” whilst belittling them.
Following the death of Brian Thompson, many healthcare executives claimed that they were being unfairly treated by people on social media, when those said executives can do the exact same thing that happen to Brian on a bigger scale and get away with it (thanks to lobbying).

Dynamic-Complex Mechanics is a framework focused on systems whose behavior emerges from continuous, non-linear interactions among many interdependent components. Unlike classical mechanics, which emphasizes predictable trajectories, this approach studies how instability, feedback loops, and adaptive responses generate new structures over time. The system’s evolution cannot be reduced to its initial conditions alone, as internal complexity continuously reshapes the rules governing behavior. Dynamic-Complex Mechanics is often applied to evolving universes, consciousness systems, and extraphysical environments where order and chaos coexist dynamically.
A developing universe begins with simple rules but rapidly generates galaxies, life, and intelligence through cascading feedback loops. No single law predicts the outcome; instead, complexity itself becomes the driving mechanical principle. In Dynamic-Complex Mechanics.

Get the Dynamic-Complex Mechanics mug.Dynamic-Complex System Mechanics is an extension of Dynamic-Complex Mechanics that treats entire systems—not individual components—as the fundamental units of analysis. It emphasizes system-level behaviors such as emergence, self-organization, resilience, and phase transitions. The mechanics describe how systems adapt, reorganize, and maintain coherence while far from equilibrium. Rather than isolating variables, this framework studies how meaning, structure, and function arise collectively through multi-scale interactions across physical, biological, and extraphysical domains.
A multiversal network reorganizes itself after the collapse of several universes, redistributing probability and stabilizing remaining structures. The system survives not by preserving components, but by reconfiguring relationships between them. In Dynamic-Complex System Mechanics.

Get the Dynamic-Complex System Mechanics mug.Tech so advanced it’s less of a "tool" and more of a "semi-autonomous ecosystem you nervously feed inputs to." These are systems whose behavior emerges from the unpredictable, adaptive interactions of countless interconnected parts—think a city's traffic AI that integrates every car, light, and pedestrian's phone, or a medical nanite swarm that diagnoses and treats by constantly communicating. They’re characterized by non-linearity (a tiny change can cause a huge, unforeseeable outcome), learning capabilities, and a frustrating inability to be fully understood or controlled. You don't build them as much as you cultivate and herd them.
Example: "Our 'smart building' uses dynamic-complex technologies. The climate, lighting, and security systems are a single adaptive mesh. It once mistook a surprise party for a thermal anomaly and sealed the room, pumped in oxygen, and played soothing tones until we promised we were just drunk, not dying."

Get the Dynamic-Complex Technologies mug.The high-wire act of designing, guiding, and maintaining systems that are fundamentally unpredictable and evolve in real-time. It’s engineering where the blueprint is a set of initial conditions, generative rules, and feedback loops rather than a fixed schematic. Practitioners are less like architects and more like gardeners or ecosystem architects, using principles from chaos theory and complexity science to foster robustness and desired emergent behaviors. Success isn't a static product, but a system that can adapt, self-repair, and thrive in a changing environment without going catastrophically off-script.
Example: "She's a dynamic-complex engineer for the global satellite mesh. She doesn't fix individual units; she designs the communication protocols and incentive algorithms so the thousands of drones self-organize into optimal constellations, avoid collisions, and collectively reroute around solar storms." Get the Dynamic-Complex Engineering mug.The interdisciplinary study of systems where the whole is not just greater than, but different from the sum of its parts. This isn't one science but a lens combining physics, biology, computer science, economics, and sociology to understand phenomena like consciousness, climate, economies, or the internet. The focus is on patterns, networks, adaptation, and emergence. The core realization is that reducing a system to its components often misses the point—the magic (and the problems) are in the connections and the constant, dynamic dance between elements.
Example: "His PhD in Dynamic-Complex Sciences meant he studied everything and nothing. His thesis was on 'Information Cascades in Hybrid Digital-Biological Systems,' which he explained as 'why a TikTok trend can cause a real-world fertilizer shortage.'"
