Gender

A gender when thought as the normal for centuries is that sex you were assigned at birth, male or female (Which are the only assigned sex).

A gender is, a concept which was developed in the 1970s, not biologically determined but defined from society norms and roles, male and female sex characteristics.

Gender Surf

One who takes full advantage of the new norm of gender fluidity by identifying with two or more gender identities in relatively short periods of time while guided by whimsical and/or strategic motivations.

Damn, do they gender surf or what?.....going all male in the patriarchal boardroom one day at their job, all non-binary at the acai bar among the hipster crowd a week later, and totally female when they go to the opera with the wives of corporate donors a few days later.

gender doula

A person who supports another person's gender exploration. Similar to how a birth doula assists with pregnancy and birth, a gender doula assists with emotions and tasks related to gender. A gender doula may be a friend or a professional.

I just met with my gender doula and they helped me come up with a plan to legally change my name.
