the Gibson Les Paul guitar went into production in 1952 and was the first solid body electric that Gibson had made. And they still make kick ass guitars like the 2 Seymour Duncan Alnico II pro humbuckers which cost like £75 each slapped into a Gibson Les Paul Custom which Slash has. Gibsonmade a couple and were made from 1996 to 1998. There were a total of 73 made; 75 If you count the 2 Slash owns. Many people around the world admire the quality of the les paul from its crisp sound maximum quality body & neck. Many rockstars use or have used the les paul like; Slash, Joe perry, Jimmy Page, Duane Allman, Brian May, Eric Clapton, Neil Young, Duffy, Jimi Hendrix, Billy Gibbons, Peter Green, Keith Richards, Jeff Beck and loads more. in my opinion and many other peoples the Les Paul is much more than a guitar its a treasure wether its a studio, standard or custom its still a les paul

Watching/listening or getting any information from a celebrity like the one mentioned above combined with the incapability to understand that their just arrogant/an idiot/uneducated/an 455hole or multiple of similar effects, instead thinking that their cool, savage, awesome etc. The combination of these two things results in your ego going up and IQ going down (in the eyes of other people), which is the core of JP-effect.

-Dude look at this guy, he's so cool! If I could just be like him...
-He's just an arrogant prick with money, don't be fooled by the Jake Paul-effect.
