A disease that afflicts college freshman, mostly straight men. Its counterpart, high school boyfriend, is not as common. In a typical case, the HSG-sufferer is devoted to what he believes is the love of his life, a high school junior or senior in his hometown (several hundred/thousand miles away). He'd rather stay in his dorm room skyping with her than meet any new friends, and when she comes to visit, his roommate can expect to be sexiled for whole weekends at a time.

This will go on (and on, and on) until their relationship explodes--hopefully at Thanksgiving during the turkey drop, but it can take until sophomore year in extreme cases.

Tom: Did you ask your roommate if he wanted to go to that party tonight?
Dan: No, I give up. He's got the worst case of high school girlfriend I've ever seen.

Mason High School

A school where you are lucky to know half your grade because like 3200 fuckin kids go there. If you don't wear a polo everyday then no one likes you unless you wear a football jersey because that means you are really cool. Big obnoxious Jordans are cool shoes to wear as long as you have socks on that go up to your knees. Although this is very uncomfortable, people might like you if you wear it. Every Friday a very loud guy gets on the announcements and yells "Comet Country" a thousand times and tells everyone we are going to win the football games. Even though we never win, no one points out that "Wild Man Whitney" was wrong once again. Finally, everyone wants to be a Lax Bro.

Friend 1"Dude, that kid goes to Mason high school"
Friend 2"How do you know?"
Friend 1"He's wearing a polo and Jordan's that weigh 8 pounds apiece. And look at those socks! They must be touchin his ballsac!"

A facility used to suppress the masses, usually aged 13-18 (or older, in rare cases). This suppression helps create loyal citizens with no imagination, uniqueness, or mind of their own. It's used to suppress thoughts and oppress students.

Gates Chili High School

A high school based in Rochester, New York which is a prison where parents who don't give a shit about their kid send them. The groups that are most common in schools are PR's, ignant black people who stab others with rat tail combs, white people who think they're as black as Djimon Hounsou (from Blood Diamond), and most of the county's whores who produce a fair percentage of it's population. And don't forget that half of the school's population that sell drugs and are pimps. And the other half are innocent kids who are thrown in there because it's cheep and teaches them how to survive in the wild. Also, the school finds it necessary to put most of the black kids in the purple hall.

Jim: Yo dude, you hear about Gates Chili High School?
Fred: Yeah, I heard some kid got stabbed with a comb over a quarter.
Jim: Nah not that. Someone got mauled by a lion in the purple hall!
Fred: Holy shit! That really is a jungle!

high maintenance friend

A friend who requires more maintenance than their contribution to your life is worth.

Matt was always expecting Christina to make him new clothes, remind him of important dates, and schedule her life around his. He very rarely kept appointments they had to get together, and never accepted invitations that she initiated to get together. Things were always on his terms, and in his way, and eventually Christina stopped trying to maintain the friendship, because Matt was way too much of a high maintenance friend.
