Gamespunk

A YouTube genre originating from the UK that began in 2023. Being pioneered by YouTuber's such as Flyingtoyota and redlight, the genre is characterised by uniquely comical, often times cynical commentary played over sped up footage of a game. The videos are usually centred around that game in question, and YouTuber's like Flyingtoyota have used the genre to create their own story overtop of the game. Videos in this genre tend to make references to British culture (mostly negative comments) for comedic effect. The editing can at times be unpolished, this being another characteristic. Creators like WayVegas have begun to merge the genre with others, like a traditional video essay.

Background Games

A type of video game such as Farmville that is nothing big. Something on your downtime, or when you are doing something menial like updating your Facebook. These games do not take much attention and are not considered very much "big games" by the gaming community.

Hmm, got a few minutes before I have to go to school, some background games for now. Farmville or Miner Society?

hunger games fanboy

A specific type of fanboy who is eccentric about everything the hunger games related. For example, Katniss is not leading for an wards vote. A fanboy would run around screaming and/or crying. And if katniss became first, they would run around screaming and/or crying. they purchase lots of fandom merch, and act quite strangely when discussing their fandom.

New hunger games poster is released. a hunger games fanboy would be the first and only person in line...for a poster.
