Tweet Skank

Usually a female Tweeter who creates a Twitter account for the purpose of spamming other Tweeters with self-promotion of her physical assets. Generally includes a pornographic profile picture and a "browse my pix" link to more porn. May or may not be an actual person.

Tweeter1: "I received five Tweet skanks this week, how many did you get?"

Tweeter2: "I got three and one of them infected my machine when I followed the link -- LenaYuck69, who posted, 'Im lonely cn u help me? check my pics'."

Tweeter1: "Fool. You block Tweet skanks, you don't follow them or their links!"

Peep the Tweet

This phrase is said or texted if the speaker wants someone or a group of people to look at their last tweet. It is at the "Peeper's" discretion to determine if it's favorite or retweet worthy.

Kon: "Peep the tweet!"
Chris: "Lol Kon! I favorited it!"

Tweetbomb

A massive amount of tweets aiming at one specific target, in a short amount of time. Used to produce a large amount of publicity about a topic. This word was initially used by Cenk Uygur of The Young Turks radio show.

Tweet on the Streets

A term used to tell someone of a rumour or to pass on information, but without wanting to be identified as the source of such rumour or information. Like "Word on the Streets", but used mostly when your source of information is a social networking platform. However, can also be used otherwise as an alternative to "Word on the Streets". Relevant in today's fast moving, all pervading and progressive digital era.

Male X: Yo, did you hear the news about that hottie you were trying to get with forever?
Male Y: No, what's up?
Male X: Tweet on the streets is that she's getting married to that boy with the thorn in his side.
Male Y: That's messed up, man.

tweetle beetle

A rare species of a beetle which is found in East Doodleland off the coast of Greenland. It eats penguin fetuses and they often perform complicated mating ritual where two male rivals fight each other to the death by using paddles in puddles, in bottles, on a poodle, eating noodles. It was discovered by the famous explorer Bob Ross DCCCXC. This great discovery was portrayed in Dr. Seuss' renowned book "Fox in Sox". A great expedition to find this species was attempted in 1863 to find the Tweetle Beetle again, but was promptly failed due to weather conditions, mealstorms, and the lacking of the geographical maps that portray Doodleland. Because of this, many people believe that the Tweetle Beetle is just a myth made up by sailors.

Despite the popular belief, scientific evidence proves that Tweetle Beetles do exist. Thank you all for spending your time of this quite pointless endeavor.
