Gammon (noun) is a thicker cut of pork that's similar to bacon. Its pinkish flesh reminds one of the florid complexion of a certain demographic of boomer white males, angry about foreigners, angry about immigrants, angry about young people, angry about... I dunno... Bounty Bars being smaller than they used to be. They often read the Daily Mail and probably play golf in all-male clubs while the "little lady" remains at home cooking.
