digital divide

Profile photos on Facebook or any other social networking site in which a woman prominently features her cleavage.
You: Wow, look at Henrietta's Facebook pic. Could she show any more cleavage?

Me: I thought she was a nice girl. What's with the digital divide?

You: Maybe we should tell her mom...

Me: Are you kidding? Have you seen her fuzzy logic on MySpace?

Dubstep Divide

A phrase used to describe the phenomenon that occurs because there are still some people who are completely oblivious to dubstep and its recent explosion in popularity. They are usually parents, instructors, or people who listen to Metallica.
Professor: Why are you so tired this morning?
Student: I was up all night like every other person at Tres raging to dubstep.
Professor: Dubstep? I like that band!
Student: Woah dubstep divide fosho...

dividend

A drink or cocktail. Stems from the concept of sharing the profits from a good harvest among the farmers involved, as in a glass of wine from a barrel or a shot of whiskey from a cask. Commonly used to refer to a drink poured from a larger stash (i.e. a bottle of whiskey or a batch of martinis).
Bob: "Yes, yes, Carolyn, I think equities are a terrible place to have your money these days. I could use another dividend. Bowmore, that will do!"

Carolyn: "I'm not going to have one myself but would be happy to get you one."

365 divided by 52

If there are 52 weeks each of seven days in one year, and a year is 365 days, then surely 365 over 52 must be equal to seven, right? Wrong. Besides there actually being 365.24 days in a year (See leap year for the reason) there are 51 weeks and four days in a year (five days in a leap year).
