teen angst

Bullshit term coined by those who don't know the effects and feelings brought on by depression. While there ARE those who don't know the full effects and are, in fact, just whiny, the term teen angst is highly offensive to those who are in fact depressed, clinically or not, and the dumbasses who apply the term to general teen culture ought to spend one week in the shoes of those who they criticize.
1: Blogs are for whiners. It's just teen angst.
2: And guess what! Nobody cares what you think, jackass.

Holiday Anticipatory Angst

Your desire to see your family at the annual gathering is offset by your anticipatory angst of being judged by your family though your own inner critic judges you mercilessly.
Holiday Anticipatory Angst includes a wide range of stress regardless of one's personal happiness or not so happiness in their own life situation. An example could be when you are pleased with yourself for making a decision regarding a difficult situation, yet have so much angst about revealing your choices at a large family gathering that you have thoughts of skipping the entire event.

Teen Angst

Recent cultural phenomenon where young people (typically ages 13-18) think that they have it tough, that they have rights, and that their opinion actually means something, and that they can do whatever the hell they want.

Such uncouth behavior undoubtedly arises from lack of parental guidance. Or because the kid in question is just plain stupid. Normal kids from good families don't have a rebellious, angsty stage.
"This Linkin Park album is so deep."
"I can do whatever I want!"
"I want my freedom!"
"I'm killing myself!"
"You can't control me!"
"I'm like, so totally depressed and stuff."
"It's just a little pot!"

wizard angst

Wizard angst can be used for all genders.

The stage in which a generally successful youth begins to act out and withdraw from most of their peers, usually between the ages of 11 through 17. This term only applies if -at least from the outside- the teen's life appears too good for this to happen. This means that wizard angst is especially common in upper middle class children, child actors, or children of celebrities.

It refers to the Harry Potter Puppet Pals video by the same name, in which Harry Potter begins to act out due to raging teenage hormones, and celebrity status as the Boy Who Lived.
Alex suffered from wizard angst the moment he became a teenager, and spent his teen years ranting on Facebook, and picking verbal fights with his peers. Despite this, he was really well off.
