waterjogged

The wet through state of a jogger after they have just been out for a gentle run and the heaven's opened on them.

A stone heavier now as water collects in every item of clothing, slops around in the shoes and streams off the matted hair (for those who have hair). Knees and legs stung by the pellets of rain are soothed by the steady trickle of water draining from the shorts and shirt.

Coming home waterjogged after a 5k, I was wrapped in the dry humour of my running buddies who opted not to run.
