Sober as a bird

This term is often used by people who are belligerently drunk. In efforts to describe their obviously non-existent states of sobriety, these people claim to be "sober as a bird." Use of the term is a clear indicator of drunkenness.

Sean: Hey man are you alright?
JP: Yeah man; I'm sober as a bird.

Sideline Sober

A person who remains sober throughout a party/night out. They keep at the "sidelines" and are not at all party goers.

Look at that kid sitting in the corner. He's drinking Mountain Dew. He's such a Sideline Sober!

law school sober

The meaning of "law school sober" depends on the speaker. It can mean, alternatively:

1) having had only 1 drink
2) having had only ~1 drink/hour
or 3) not drunk enough to have done anything you'd regret

-Are you sure you're good to drive?
-Well, I'm *law school* sober...

-You were drinking for 8 hours yesterday?! It's Tuesday!
-It's cool, bro, I was law school sober.

-You went drinking with that Alaskan boy *again*?
-We were law school sober!

soberado

being sober amongst people who are under the influence of drugs or alcohol. A soberado is most likely a soberado because they want to be able to babysit their drugged up friends, unless of course they can handle babysitting while under the influence of any substance.

guy: I'm so tempted. i gave up liquor but my drunk friends are having a damn good time.
guy 2: Don't worry bro. i'll sober it out with you. SOBERADOS!
guy: SOBERADOS!!
*"pounding fists" or "slapping skins" should follow.
