Masculine peer pressure in the ghetto neighborhoods of some black areas demands that a male be a father before he is sixteen. That is why Tyrone started have sex at eleven and fathered his first child at thirteen.

Peer Pressure describes a situation when a person tries to get someone else to do something, usually against that other's better judgement. Like this:
"Hey Lucy, will you have sex/smoke cigarettes/drink alcohol/torture this gerbil with me?"
"Well, I'm not sure..."
"Everyone else is doing it."
>SIGHS<"Oh, ok."

Trying to get somebody to do something based on what everyone else is doing, thinks is safe, or thinks someone should do.
Most people wear masks, and some think that peer pressure, or even something worse than peer pressure (like deaths) is going to change the way somebody else does things, especially if peer pressure convinced them to put on a mask. Life is worth losing.
