pathological liar

When someone is clearly lying but their state of mind, (usually mentally unstable) takes control and makes them lie. In some cases it can clearly be shown as a lie but the liar will continue to lie, ultimately digging a larger hole for themselves.

Benny: False, i have nothing to do with her

Sarah: Awww! I spilled my french fries all over the inside of my car. They wouldn't fit in the cup holder because of their inferior-to-the-soft-drink-cup shape so i placed them on the dash board!
