Padangle

A surfers slang term used to define the point where the surfer is paddling diagonally to ride the wave. First derived from two words 'Paddle' and 'Angle' as the surfer is paddling on an angle in conjuction with the wave to get to a point where the surfer can then ride the wave.

Padangle is a word used mostly in Australia, Sydney around the Northern Beaches. Word is also shortened and said to Padang, Pang and Pangle as this is easier to say.

Adams: "How do i get on the wave properly?"
Todd: "You need to Padangle to pick up your speed."

also known as Kampuchea Boxing, Pradal Serey (translated to "Free Fight") is a style of Kickboxing practiced in Cambodia that predates the more commonly known style of Muay Thai. The style is dated back to the 9th Century in Cambodia, and was taught to Angkor warriors that defended the temple Angkor Watt.
During the Cambodian Civil War, the Cambodian economony was greatly derailed in which Thailand used the opportunity to monopolize kickboxing and promoted Muay Thai to the world. Many other Southeast Asian Countries (such as Laos, and Malaysia) criticize the Thai Boxing Committee for promoting an art developed in all countries of Southeast Asia as their own.

in the epic movie series star wars jedi apprentice grew 1 sing braid of hair to symbolize their rank as an padawan. once a padawan's training was complete his master or a member of the jedi council would chop it off with their lightsaber symbolizing the completion of his training.

A Jedi student. They are past the first part of their Jedi training and are now apprentices to other Jedi masters. They have exceptional skills, to become powerful and great. So Padawans are also called 'My apprentice' by their masters. Or 'My Padawan'
Padawans have small plaits in their hair. This is a good way to spot them. Very cute.
