He is most commonly associated with the Rastafarian movement, despite the fact that he converted to Orthodox Christianity, being baptised by His Eminence Abouna Yeeshaq (sent to Jamaica by H.I.M. Haile Selassie I to convert the Rastas to Christianity) before his death.
