Paper Hailing

Paper Hailing: the act of getting a piece of paper or papers and cutting or tearing them into pieces rolling them up into a hail sized piece of paper and then blowing it on to someone (sizes of paper hail can vary)

Example: "You just got Paper Hailed"

When hail falls on a car dealership, all the new and used cars get dinged up by the hail. They are then put on sale for a reduced price. Hence the term, "hail sale".

After that mega-thunderstorm moved through, the local dealership had a hail sale.
