The act of visiting multiple garage sales within a short period of time, usually within the morning to noon hours. Derived from the words "garage sale."

garage dweller

Someone or a group of people, possibly a family that spend all their time in the garage with the door open for the world to see. They meet others, eat, drink, entertain, socialize, hang out, smoke cigs and generally live in the garage. Cars are not allowed in the garage and the garage dweller can be seen standing in the open garage area at all hours. There is usually a fridge in the garage and most food is ordered and delivered to the garage. There is a larger structure attached to the garage that is of no use to the garage dweller.

That family dosent need a house they are just a bunch of garage dwellers.

A Group of Extremely Badass longboarders that blast down parking garages at incredibily high rates of speed. HGR dominates at all aspects of longboarding and speedboarding! known and repped by Carve Skateshop! HGR is simply unstoppable! HGR is also widely hated by other texas longboard groups because these other texas longboard groups (ALC and Other fags) get extremely offended by internet bullshit (Chubs ranting) and the fact that HGR is really badass, they just really want to be a part of it but can't because they are simply not badass enough!

ALC dude #1- "hey did you see those Badass Houston Garage Riders (HGR) dudes Steezin it up last night?"

ALC Dude #2- "Yeah dude i really wanna be just like them!"

HGR Badass #1- "yeah we are pretty badass dont fuck with us!!"

Gairaigo

The Japanese word for foreign loanwords (usually English) which have been integrated into everyday Japanese.

In some cases they have been adopted because an appropriate Japanese word simply doesn't exist, in others because English and Western culture are considered fashionable and attractive.

Many are rendered unrecognisable, both by the extreme differences in pronunciation between the various languages and also by the Japanese propensity for shortening and condensing.

(There is already an entry under garaigo, but this romanisation is incorrect)

igirisu - Great Britain (from Portugese)
aisukuriimu - ice cream
daburu - double
terebi - televi(sion)
pasokon - perso(nal) com(puter)
