Basically, it's a sarcastic and passive-aggressive way to say: listen faggot, you're not special. You're not a beautiful and unique special snowflake. The idea is basically turning a bad thing into a good thing. Let something beautiful grow out of an open wound. Let the rotting flesh and toxic environment be the fertilizer to foster a new thing; a beautiful thing.
