New York City

A big, urban, fast, big, American, big, landmarked, tourist attraction and did I mention big city located on the Eastern Seaboard on the Atlantic Ocean on the United States. Split into 5 parts, Manhatten, Staten (Long) Island, Queens, The Bronx and Brooklyn. Everything in New York is BIG! The buildings are big, the population is big, the people have big attitudes along with big hearts at the same time, the influence is big, the number of things you can do are big and the number of places you can eat and live are big. The only thing that's small in NY is the Cotton Club. Also known as the Big Apple and the City That Never Sleeps. Holder of Central Park, The Empire State Building, Times Square, Radio City, 8 million people, 7 sports teams (Rangers, Islanders, Yankees, Mets, Jets, Giants and Knicks) and a hell of alot of character and influence. Apparently went through a really bad period from the Stock Market Crash to Guliani becoming mayor where there were huge crime rates, poverty rates etc. But after Guliani came in, he cleaned the city up. I DO know this, because I went to New York and it was great.

I went to New York City in May and I loved it. The atmosphere is great where everyone's walking around, it's safe, it's clean, there's alot to do, the people are really nice and it has character. The city itself is a wonder of the world. Only problem about New York is it's easy to get lost. But you've just got to watch where your going, that's all.

if you can hold a fork, you can go to York. Low entrance standards for the majority of programs and a tendacny to throw an ungodly amount of money at students to entice them to accept their offers of admission. Which students then reject, and go to a better university.

Essentially the university that NO ONE wants to go to. Their only good programs are the Schulich and Osgoode programs. Everything else is shit... PURE SHIT.

New York

A lovely place. Very north European in outlook whilst embracing all cultures. Not the most *American* of North American cities but by far the best. Because of its geography it has evolved in a very classical manner, downtown being centered in southern Manhatten but starting to spill into Brooklyn and upwards into Harlem and the Bronx, with the suburbs on a distinctly 'second tier' of development; this contrasts sharply with the 'multi-hubbed' nature of Los Angeles with its multiple high rise centres making LA much more of a governmental concept than a unified civic community.

Everyone cityphile should go there atleast once.

Western New York

WNY is filled with bad roads that they don’t fix also here is tailgaters and rubberneckers. Everybody drives like ass in this city either idiots that drive fast and have annoyingly loud cars to people that drive like grandmas. People are rude here and start shit with you for no reason. You also have people that are nosy and are in your business when they should mind there own. They say this city is the city of good neighbors BULLSHIT. When your attractive here you feel like a ghost like you don’t matter and your watching everybody have kids except you!!!! Then you will have people that are self centered and are all about themselves but don’t care about you and ask you anything about yourself so you can have a friendship or relationship with these people. The women here suck there either taken or when your out and about there eyes are everywhere else but looking at you! so you guys can flirt and hookup. Nobody wants to date attractive people here you see people here with less attractive people or people that look like they don’t deserve that girl and then you ask yourself “why is she with him” when she should be with a decent guy like me?. I hate this city the only thing good in this city is the food other than that this city is trash. I would rate this city a 1 star out of 5.
