He was writing a text message on his mobile phone while he was crossing the street. He never saw the car. It was a texident.

textalanche

The flood of text messages received when you first turn your phone on after it has been off for a long time, or when you finally get a signal. The longer the phone was off, and the more popular you are, the bigger the textalanche is.

Coming home from my weekend ski trip in the mountains, as soon as I was on the highway and had service, I got a textalanche.

I was really excited when I got a textalanche this morning, thinking that my friends wanted to hang out, but instead it was just my mom asking me where I was.

giving "attitude" via text message by responding with as few words, or letters, as it takes to answer to a question, making the individual asking the questions inquire why you have an "attitude".

"Did you text Ashley to see if she is coming?"

"Yeah, but she kept giving one letter answers. I don't know what her problem is but she seemed to have a real text-i-tude problem....."
