To pull a Stanley means to not turn in the work that is due in class or to not due the work at all.

To pull a Stanley could also mean doing it 6 weeks after it is due.
"Have you done the assignment?"

"Nah, I think I'm just going to Pull a Stanley on it."

Pull a Michael Knight

Pulling a Michael Knight: Grabbing someone by their shirt collar and prop them up against a wall when you are angry with them. Typically followed by some verbal threat of some type. Often used as a tactic by Michael Knight in the award wining 1980's Knight Rider Television series.
Joe was refusing to give me my CDs back so I had to "Pull a Michael Knight" on him to get them back!
