It reflects the moment where your hippocampus (the brain structure involved in memory and navigation which stores maps of the environment you have visited before) recognises that you have been to a place before and merges two cognitive maps together (one map made when you visited in the past and the map made in the present).
I am used to go to the supermarket by taking Broadway, but yesterday I was on South street and reached the supermarket. I had a hippocampus moment! I realised South street leads to broadway!
