Hype Vulture

Hipsters that circle potential sources of culture, swooping in whenever something begins to generate hype and ruining said thing for the rest of us. Once something is attacked by a hype vulture, all further observers must be wary of being accused of being a hype vulture themselves.
I went to the WU LYF show but it was full of hype vultures.

Hephelump

An obese woman who, on the first day of vacation, decides to finally begin her workout regiment and lose those fat rolls. Often seen in a tight fitting all brand new spandex outfit holding a white ipod and either walking really hard or struggling on a bicycle, but never breaking a sweat. A common sight in North Carolina's OBX beaches.
Big fat Judy bought some work out clothes at Wal-Mart and plans to lose that 150lb during her week at the beach. I saw her on her first day here riding a bike, and a store tag was hanging off of her shirt. Maybe she should have lost that weight "before" she came to the beach. What a Hephelump!

hypeballing

verb form of aggressively promoting a pre-trendy new artist via blog/Twitter in hopes that they will become actually trendy and you will seem 'ahead of the curve.' 'Grabbing onto the hypeball,' 'getting the hypeball rolling.' This happens especially with young artists who have only released a few songs, but seem especially trendy and 'buzzworthy' and everyone hypeballs them, hoping they'll seem cool, and then the artists fails to live up to their hyped-up expectations and collapses under the pressure.

coined by hipster runoff blogger 'carles,' used exceptionally during his 2011 coverage of 'hot indie female singer' and hypeballing icon Lana del Rey
"producer Tim Goldsworthy has gone out of their way to 'talk mad shit' abt Lana Del Rey and all of the 'mindless' indie blogs and mp3 listeners that are hypeballing her."

"Do u think Pocahaunted quit because they were disenfranchised by the hypeballing of the Best Coast sound project?"

Hyper-fan-ness

When a person obsesses about one celebrity per week so much so that he/she believes that he or she is actually similar to that celebrity
For example: Watching interviews and concerts from past-century/decade of Illayaraja non-stop for hours leading to singing and behaving like him, i.e., hyper-fan-ness.

hype jumper

a person who jumps on to the bandwagon, purely because it's popular and attempts to show another person this hype, when in fact that person is well aware of it, before the hype.
"yo, have you seen those 'yo momma' jokes? they are sick man! I know so many right now..."

"you are such a hype jumper."

hyperaccurate

Very, very accurate indeed. Tautological bollocks said by losers who think they're cool. Hyperaccurate is completely unlike hypoaccurate.
I got these cool new hyperaccurate callipers. They measure to the picometre, f'real.
