utpa

University of Texas Pan American - A Texas Higher Learning Institution home to economically resourceful students who realize that it's not the school that makes the person but rather what the person makes of the school and it's educational resources.

In economics class the professor taught the students about substitute goods. Although UT Austin and UTPA both teach the same course of Rhetoric, students decide to attend UTPA because it's less expensive, while less savvy people continue to shell out thousands of dollars at UT Austin for an education comparable to that of UTPA's.

Utes

Utes is the spoken form of the acronym 'Utf' meaning 'up to fucks'.

'Utf' evolved into Utes because of the obvious difficulty in saying 'Utf' as a single word easily in conversation. Utes originates in Christchurch, New Zealand.

Utes is used generally to describe a person or situation that doesn't fulfill any purpose and therefore does nothing.

'Man that guy is so utes, he doesn't do anything'
'This party is utes, there's no one here'

Utopia Roleplaying

A roleplaying community that took over one of the boards on Swirve's message boards for their online game, Utopia. Contrary to what the name suggests, it has nothing to do with Utopia; anyone who suggests that it does is summarily flamed and banned.

I went to URP and tried to "bring my kindgom to life," but instead got whacked in the face with frying pans of assorted sizes.
