Great fuckin' movie! Got to add some points that have been missed: based on real events while Hunter S Thompson was supposed to be covering the Mint 400 (not filming it) - it was originally supposed to be a Sports Illustrated caption, not a book on the American Dream written in pure Gonzo journalism. The attorney is based on the real man, Oscar Acosta, who was also there and is Chicano, not Samoan. Hunter tried to get first SI, then Rolling Stone to cover "expenses" but they were deemed too outrageous - Random House paid for it, giving them future control of HST's book.

Fear Fart

The involuntary reaction of anal sphincter relaxation and gas release from severe fright. The caliber of smell depends on the intensity of the fear experienced.

What is that smell?! ...I think the pig-man with the chainsaw must really have scared Jenna, she's been fear farting ever since.

fear pong

Fear pong is a game just like beer pong except under each cup is a dare. If your opponent makes the ball into the cup you have to read the dare under that cup OR you have to drink the beer in the cup. And whoever does the most dares wins a prize at the end of the game.

When you are so intensely afraid of another individual that you reach a point of sexual arousal. The fear boner is a sign of submission to a more powerful individual.

1. Someone who stands to gain power, influence or funding by spreading fear in the general population. 2. A sophisticated type of 21st century fear monger who uses PR methods to generate panic, doubt and free-floating anxiety. 3. Dick Cheney and his ilk.

Thanks to that Fear Profiteer in Wyoming, all shampoo bottles will be banned on U.S. flights.
