Short form and less offensive word for sohai, used jokingly especially with close friends always give a good laugh.
i. Kinda have a bit meaning of 'stupid/weak', used when want to encourage your friend to do something but you couldn't use 'stupid' at that situation which can offend your friend.
ii. Greeting. Used when the normal "hi" greeting become dull and boring (between close friends), "shai" will lights things up a bit.
iii. Used when no other words can describe the situation. Or, no other words are appropriate.
