slamboozie

A communal party drink mixed in a big plastic tub with ice, consisting of a fifth of everclear, a fifth of vodka, a case of beer, 6 Sparks tallboy energy drinks, 3 cans of frozen lemonade concentrate, and optionally four cans of Red Bull. Scaled up as necessary.

Also refers to a Memphis-style party where slamboozie is served, featuring women dancing wildly or bellowing Beyoncé songs at top volume in its later stages, finishing the night with a fast food run.

1) After the slamboozie, Jessica dropped the key on the way to the car, and used her cellphone flashlight to find it.

2) After passing the Bar, Cristina invited her BFFs to a slamboozie.

3) "Yo, girl, back away from the slamboozie, you don't want to end up a vodka whore!".

slamburner

Compound word combining "slam piece" and "Back Burner". The act of keeping a slutty female or the more commonly known "slam piece" on the side in case other plans fall through so that a "brodude" may in fact "get his nut". Also known as a booty call.

sambuca

An italian liqueur. It is as strong as vodka or whisky (37.5%) but is easier to drink due to its sweetness which masks the taste of the alcohol. It tastes like aniseed or liquorice and comes in several varieties and colours, including white sambuca (which is actually clear), black sambuca(which is more like a dark purple) and red sambuca (which is actually red). It can be drunk straight, or it can be drunk with 3 coffee beans (known as Sambuca con mosca)in the glass (the beans represent health, happiness and prosperity). It can also be set on fire - a popular way of taking a shot is to light it and then extinguish using the palm of the hand. The glass then sticks to the palm due to suction. The shot is then finished while the drink is still warm.

Man, my last memory of that night was when the bottle of black sambuca I was drinking got finished...

samba

Traditional dance and music form of Brazil, it has many possible variations, speeds and hybrids with other dances. Unlike "salsa", the parallel but very different type(s) of traditional dancing in Spanish-speaking Latin America, samba has more hip movement and more of a "shuffle" feel to it, based on its softer ease on (and around) the beat, coming from the polyrhythms of the Afrikan percussion music that traditionally accompanied it.
