Green Day Elite

Green Day fan who thinks he's better than other Green Day fans because he (or she) was one before they "went mainstream", and is in fact only better than green day poseurs. Many of them dislike the album American Idiot for no reason other than to prove their "anti-mainstreamness". Has and intolerance for new Green Day fans, even if after becoming fans of American Idiot (the rock opera, not just the popular songs) they went back and listened to (and enjoyed) older Green Day music.

That Green Day Elite hates me because the first Green Day album I was a fan of was American Idiot, even though my favorite album is now Kerplunk.

really good band. have been good since they started, which means that american idiot is not their first album. i do not care that people like their music now, but it would be nice if they would appreciate that they had loads of albums BEFORE american idiot which were equally as good. there is more to this band than 'hot' billie joe armstrong, which means all you idiots who think you are his secret wife or something should just shoosh. and american idiot and boulevard of broken dreams are NOT their only songs (horror of all horrors).

*silly girly girl* - omg! green day are just sooo amazing! i love american idiot! it's like, so totally the best song EVER! don't wana be an american idiot!

obsessive compulsive green day dissorder

also known as OCGDD,
people who are obsessed with green day, who cant go one day without visiting GDA (greendayauthority.com), and are sick of people who think american idiot is the only green day cd ever made.
when inflicted with this awesome disease, you know all there is to know about green day and sweet children, from every song lyric, to having every poster,to getting angry with others that only listen to them because they think billie is hot, and dont know the meanings behind any song.

you: omg i love Greenday! i went to the doctor yesterday...and they looked in my ears and diagnosed me with that!

Green Day

Green Day, A band that teens are going wild over, who probably don't know that they even had any other albums besides American Idiot and 21st Century Breakdown. A true Green Day fan would know about: Insomniac, Dookie, Nimrod, Kerplunk, Working Class Hero, and Warning. Now all you hear is girls screaming on about "OMG Billie Joe is so cute have you heard there new song 21 Guns OMG OMG!! There first album American Idiot was sooooo good OMG!!"

Girl 1: OMG have you heard of that new pop band Green Day!!??
Me: New? they've been around for almost 20 years!!
Girl 1: nuh uh!
Girl 2: yah they have
Me: thanks you must be a true fan
Girl 2: yah...my favorite album is Nimrod
Girl 1: Nimrod?? Whats a Nimrod??
Me: one of their albums
Girl 1: wait...

Girl 2: yah...
Girl 1: so your saying they have more than two albums...
Me: NO FRICKIN DUH!!!!
Girl 1: well i like their new stuff
Me: there new stuff is okay but it got to pop-ish
Girl 1: i thought they were always pop-ish
Girl 2: nooooo they used to be Punk
Me: COMPLETE PUNK

Girl 1: whatever

This is a band you used to listen to and kids would make fun of you. You would then work hard on your music, get more involved and the punk rock scene would advance and grow.

And now you make fun of kids with Simple Plan shirts.
