"Cookie-cutter" songs used to fill time or pad an album around the two or three hits.

While the lyrics might be good the music itself lacks substance. Filler songs will never be on a greatest hits record down the road. Not even as a joke.

"I wish I could return this CD I bought - it's all filler songs."

Filler Friend

A filler friend is the one who is always walking behind the group when there's no room left or will often times be forgotten to be invited to events or gatherings. Usually ends up the designated driver when actually invited.

Jeff: "Hey man, that movie was badass!"
Eric: "Yeah dude, it was awesome!"
