place in nyack, ny where eighth graders and freshman gather and dress in scene attire while pretending they like the "hardcore" bands that play. kids in bands are usually 14-20 and are always asking if they can play one more song. girls are usually looking for someone to hookup with and guys are usually too stupid to notice or wearing tight pants and questioning their sexuality. emo kids sit in the back on chairs or in large groups of other emo kids you can spot them because they are all wearing black or have orange/green/purple/pink hair and five pounds of eyeliner on. scene kids will also have these attributes but are probably yelling "rawr dinosaur". anyone wearing an atrium shirt is probably thirteen or younger and an incredibly stupid poser.
