Get the POSER mug.Someone trying to push an agenda of equality, justice, and hope, even though none of it is anything to them, none of it was ever sacred enough to them to be anything to them. Two sides don't have to agree or get along to be equal, since equality never meant any two people ever had to get along or agree on anything. Equality also doesn't mean two people have to be friends because they are equal. People are not better or worse than their enemies.
The poser claimed to be for equality, justice, reform, and hope, but really those were all surface matters in her power struglle for control of a town she wasn't originally from, and one that would never really be anything to her besides a playground.

Get the Poser mug.Somebody that says they get something they really don't so that people will pay attention to them, as seeking attention is always part of their agenda.
The poser said she got something everyone else said they got so that she wouldn't be the only one among them that didn't get it, she would be part of their group, she would see herself as being in with the group, even if not everybody did see in her what she saw in herself, as not everyone was looking through the same narcissistic lens.

Get the Poser mug.Someone that says they encourage disagreement even though they can't really take disagreement or opposition to them, and people have already ended up in jail or worse for standing up to them. Someone that only says they respect other people, their experience, their beliefs, or their opinions because they know they want other people to respect them, and not because they actually respect anything about the other person.
The poser always talked to people like she owned the place and had authority over over to encourage/discourage them to do things. She never held anything or anyone (except possibly herself) sacred enough to respect it/them.

Get the Poser mug.Someone that has to make clever abbreviations for words so that they don't end up cursing, to defend their appropriate and wholesome looking/sounding image.
He/she was a poser that didn't want to say anything that didn't make him/her look wholesome or appropriate. The fucked up thing about it was he/she also didn't want to say/do anything that made him/her look uptight or prudish, because he/she also wanted to play the people who hated anything wholesome.

Get the Poser mug.A dude decked out in top-tier offshore fishing gear - fishing shirt, expensive polarized shades, Olukai flip flops and buff around the neck - but hasn’t touched a rod since that one party boat trip in 2016. Usually found far from any actual water, often at brunch, Publix, or flexing on Instagram with a caption like “Salt Life" next to a retention pond.
Common Traits:
- SPF 50 hoodie with no tan line
- Talks tides, can’t tie a clinch knot
- Sandbar MVP, casting optional
- Uses ‘tight lines’ as a sign-off, unironically
