The one phrase or idea that candidates repeat over and over again in debates and commercials until it people believe it. Especially applicable to the 2004 election and an indication of the downfall of the media.

Jon Stewart: No, you don't. All you do is scream the talking points at each other.

Pointer

An ineffective member of Top Level Mgmt bought in when a work situation has become troublesome but a shouter has failed to bring things back on track. Whilst the aim is for the pointer to fix things by putting the fear of god into a team they generally fail and pass the blame to other members of the team as a result gaining a significant bonus.

Point and tail situation

A situation where someone comes in at the tail end of a conversation and doesn't get the point of the conversation and is a dumbass who tries to put in their two cents.

Kyle: ... and that's why I learned to play the super Mario brothers theme song on guitar.

David: Oh, interesting story.
Dumbass guy: (while butting in) I can play guitar too!
Kyle: It's really more of a point and tail situation.

A Lagrange point is a place relative to two large bodies (e.g, the Sun and the Earth, or the Sun and Jupiter) where the gravitational and centrifigal forces on a small body that remains at the same point relative to the two large bodies are balanced.

The Point System

The Point system is, as stated, a system of points earned based on sexual activities performed in areas other than either participants bedroom. It generally takes the form of friendly competition between bored, promiscuous friends.
points:
2nd base= 1 points
3rd base= 2 points
4th base= 5 points

additional rules:
any actions that lead to other actions (e.g. hand action leading to sex) points are awarded for the highest earning activity only.
however, if additional activities are added after this, these points are counted as well.

extra points:
one extra point is awarded for the following
-if the participants are not a couple
- if there are other people in the room
- if 2 activities are done at the same time (e.g. 69ing is 5 points instead of 4)
-in the case of sex, 2 extra points are awarded instead of one. i.e. sex with someone else in the room earns 7 points etc.

"aw man, fingered this chick in my brothers room while he was in there. we got 3 points."
...
"hey man, how many points you get last night?"
"23"
"Dude, you're winning The Point System "
